Sometimes: In a mild case, a high potency probiotic may be of some use, but if the diarrhea is due to clostridia dificile, another bacteria that sometimes overgrows due to antibiotic use, then it will not be useful. If the diarrhea is persisting, please be evaluated by a physician to make sure you don't have clostridia.
