Rare: you ovulate and are most fertile 2 weeks before your cycle, not to mention it is "pre-cum" and not guaranteed to have sperm it to begin with, but as stated, the timing would not be right for pregnancy. Next time use birth control if you do not want to get pregnant with condoms to prevent any std's.

14 days before: Ovulation occurs 14 days before your period starts. You can track your cycles to confirm your most fertile days or try using a home ovulation kit available at any pharmacy. Having intercourse on day 9 as you describe is a less likely time but pregnancy is still possible.
