Do not use it: Kava has been known to cause severe liver damage up to the point of requiring a transplant. Even after short term use it can be liver toxic. There is a long list of medications that show an interaction between kava and the medication. While I did not specifically see Clindamycin on this list that does not mean it is save to combine the 2. I would error on the side of caution and not use kava.

Don't : Think it would affect antibiotics if you use the tea rarely. But studies show harmful damage to liver even in small amounts. Use with extreme caution.
