Worrisome: It is always tricky to find the right mix, while symptoms are present. On the other hand, you have not been on this medication that long, so withdrawal will likely be tolerable. Still, better to add the medication first, then taper off of the old medication, in my opinion. Were there problems with saphris (asenapine) that made your doctor nervous about keeping you on it?

Started taking Saphris (asenapine) 4 wks, first 3 weeks great, symptoms returned only feel normal 2 hours a day, doc bumped it up to 15 from 10,will i get bett?
On saphris (asenapine) 10mg for bipolar. Been emotionally flat for a year. Looking to get off of it. What's the best way to taper to avoid withdrawal. My doc says to just stop cold turkey. I'm afraid of that.
