After going on hyperthyroid medication how quickly does it usually regulate the thyroid to normal lvls?

Week or so: Hormones cause reactions slowly because they work on receptors which cause an effect. Taking synthroid (thyroxine) will not stimulate your thyroid which is not functioning it will bypass the thyroid and you will be replacing your thyroid hormone with the pill. The level will rise after just a few days but to really level off will take a few weeks however the pill will be already having some effects.

That depends: Everyone reacts a little different to meds, and some may improve n weeks, while others may take months. It is important you follow-up with your Endocrinologist to assure your treatment is working and your condition is improving. Best wishes.
