Yes.: While a pinched nerve would not give you other signs of a kidney or bladder infection (blood or pus in the urine, painful urination, etc) the back or abdomen pain could mimick a kidney problem. Pinched nerves in the thoracic spine are usually a diagnosiss of exclusion as we do worry about lots of conditions if you have back or abdominal pain.
