No symptoms: Pregnancy is asymptomatic until a missed period. PMS is the prodrome of the impending start of the period.

PMS.: The main difference is you have to be pregnant for pregnancy symptoms! pms comes every month with your menstrual cycle and hormonal changes. It is mainly about bloating, fatigue, cramps, moodiness and gets better once your bleeding starts. In pregnancy, most of the time, woman doesn't feel moodiness every month. They can be the same: They can literally be the same. The best thing to do is take a home pregnancy test, then you will know for sure. In a general sense pregnancy symptoms can feel more like general sickness and nausea as opposed to irritability and cramps. But every pregnancy is different and every period is too. Best wishes/luck in whatever you want.

Hindsight: The only reliable differentiation is a positive pregnancy test. Every period is different and every pregnancy is different. A lot of times you will be able to tell in hindsight that your pregnancy symptoms were pregnancy and not pms, the distinction can be very subtle, but it can be obvious too. If you are trying to get pregnant or not trying the wait is excruciating. Best wishes either way.
