A member asked:

Can you tell me how the egg exit the ovary?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ovulation: At the beginning of the month, several eggs enter a biologic race to see which one will become the ovulated egg. The winning egg forms a balloon-like follicle on the ovary that fills with fluid. The follicle enlarges every day until at just the right time, it breaks open. The egg washes out of the follicle/ovary with the fluid and is picked up by the fallopian tube. Best wishes
