Minor concussion: In the case of a minor concussion one could return to normal exercise within a month to six weeks. If headaches are still persisting then the time might need to be longer.

Guided by symptoms: 1. Rest until symptoms have settled 'recovery' 2. Light aerobic exercise 'increase heart rate' - if symptoms return, rest, if not... 3. Sport specific exercise eg: running drills 'add movement' - if no symptoms progress to... 4. Non-contact training 'co-ordination, cognitive load' if normal function, no symptoms... 5. Recommend full-contact practice prior to matchplay. Needs clearance by Dr.
