A member asked:

How effective is hydrocodone bit/acetaminophen?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Effective for what?: and in what dose? All opioids are effective for pain, although there are some kinds of pain that they don't work as well for (like nerve irritation pain or neuropathy). For moderate pain, usual doses of hydrocodone are 5-15 mg every 3-4 hours, usually in a pill together with 325 mg of tylenol (acetaminophen) per pill.
