A member asked:

Can you tell me how vision work?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Complicated: An image is focused by the eye on the retina which translates the light into an electrical signal conveying the shape, color and other features of the image to the occipital lobe of the brain. This part of the brain converts that signal into the picture that we call vision. A book has been written on each step in the sequence as it is very complicated.
