Time varies: Varied times for different STDs. Gonorrhea and chlamydia 2-3 days. 1-2 weeks for vaginal infections like trichomonas and bacterial vaginosis, 4-6 weeks for syphilis and HIV blood tests. If no symptoms, do it all at 4-6 weeks. Herpes (HSV) testing takes up to 3-4 months, but usually not recommended after any single exposure unless there are symptoms or partner is know to have herpes.
