History/testing: Either you have a history of a reaction to a bee sting, whether localized or generalized, or you can be tested by an allergist, if concerned you might get a reaction if stung accidentally, please keep any antihistaminic handy and ask your doctor to prescribe you epinephrine pen if you're at high exposure risk, check aaaai.org or acaai.org for an allergist in your area
