A member asked:

How to get a new eyeglass prescription for someone with a severe intellectual disability?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Still possible: Optometrists and ophthalmologists have special ways of performing examinations in order to select the appropriate Rx for someone, even if they are nonverbal or cannot fully cooperate with requests/instructions. Your local Department of Disabilities and Special Needs may have some contact information for you. Good luck!
