I see you are from: New Mexico--we did some nuclear testing there. Not sure what you mean by "edit". Background radiation may cause some mutations, but are not the major source, unless you have an antique watch which glows in the dark. Older males have a very slightly increased risk of new mutations but there is no way to monitor for gonadal mutations.
