A member asked:

What to do if i'm about to have gallbladder surgery?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Take a deep breath: First of all, take a deep breath. Things will most likely be fine. The night before the operation, stop taking food and drink by mouth as directed by your doctor. Try to avoid fatty foods leading up to the operation as this may aggravate your gallbladder disease. make arrangements to be out of work for at least one week. Then try to relax.
