Treatable!: Ovarian cancer is almost always treated first with surgery. The goal is to remove every bit of ovarian cancer, including the tiny nodules you see in the picture. This might involve removing the ovaries and uterus, parts of the bowel or bladder, etc. Chemotherapy may be given after surgery to decrease the risk of ovarian cancer returning. It's curable if all the cancer can be removed!
