Unlikely normal: Your Depo injection should be fully protective the week after your injection. There is no need to have both birth control methods. If you choose to finish your pack of Oral Contraceptives then a normal period is unlikely. This is due to the side effect of the Depo. Still use condoms no matter what birth control you use to protect against any Sexually Transmitted Infections
