Can a large tear in the elbow tendon need to be surgically repaired or casted. arthritis has now set it and a bone spur has appeared on the epicondyle?

Maybe.: It depends on which tendon is involved and if it is complete. Additionally, your level of function required at work and/or for avocational activities is an important consideration. However, the tendon repair will not change the arthritis.
