OTC scar cream: If this is really fairly recent (weeks) there are very effective OTC scar reducing creams/ointment in pharmacy aisles. If you can't find it, ask the pharmacist or your doctor/surgeon to recommend one. It worked well on everyone I've known who used it (including me). Best wishes!
