Bentyl (dicyclomine): Bentyl(dicyclomine) does not change the appearance of stool. It may cause constipation which in turn may cause more firm stools and increased problems with expelling stool.

Agree w Dr. Austin: Bentyl (dicyclomine) may cause constipation on rare occasions (less than 0.1%).

Recomended treatment for IBS when diet change doesn't help. Already on buprophin and don't like the bentyl (dicyclomine) but I have pain daily. All tests normal.
Is dicyclomine a good treatment for rapid gastric emptying symptoms? Diet changes and apple pectin didn't work?
