Learned behaviors: start at 6 mos.,so he is "trained night feeder." At a consistent bedtime, read, cuddle, feed, wipe out his mouth with a soft cloth/ use an infant toothbrush, then put him in his bed in his own room drowsy, but awake, to learn to self-calm for sleep. If you consistently ignore night crying, it will first worsen, then stop. If you can't do this, HealthyChildren.org has a " graded ignoring" method.
