Possibilities....: Possible causes of a chronic cough (lasting 3 weeks or more) include bronchospasm from any etiology, post-nasal drip, GERD, or a combination of these factors. Each of these causes has a different treatment so you need to see your doctor so your cough can be diagnosed and treated! If you smoke, you need to quit to decrease airway inflammation!
