A member asked:

Is there a conflict between atacand (candesartan) and dilatrend?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

You mean dilatrate?: Dilatrate belongs to a class: calcium-chanel-blocker. By itself, it does not interact with Atacand (candesartan) and thus they can be used together to treat high blood pressure. Since they both lower bp, combo use may lower too much and cause hypotension/orthostatic hypotension etc..But otherwise they are safe together. If u have side effects/problems, consult your doc. Good luck.
