Diabetes not actos (pioglitazone): There is a connection btn diabetes and depression and anxiety. If blood sugars fall too low or even drop quickly despite being still high, there is an adrenaline reaction that feels like anxiety. Also, low blood sugars deprive the brain of needed glucose which can cause fatigue and poor concentration-depression like symptoms. Actos (pioglitazone) can cause low blood sugars if not monitored correctly.
