Why is it so hard for me to have an orgasm after child birth?

Complicated: Physical changes of childbirth, (stretched or damaged nerves in pelvis), hormonal, if nursing, levels can be lowered, emotional, if any amount of postpartum blues exists, exhaution, with child care and sleep deprivation. It does get better and almost always is as good or better than before. Often a weekend away without baby is the answer.

Stress and trauma: Child birth can cause vaginal trauma. Having a child can be very stressful. Both of these problems can make it hard to have normal sexual function. If you can not achieve an orgasm, and before you had your child you could, then it's time to call your doctor.
