I have anemia. does anemia cause puffy bags under the eyes?

Probably not related: Puffy eyelids at your age is not unusual. Fluid tends to accumulate in the thin tissues of the eyelid especially overnight when lying down. This is related to hormonal changes. That being said, it is important to have a thorough evaluation of the kidney& liver function as they may be affected by the anemia. Also bleeding tendencies, and other blood abnormalities should be checked. Be persistent!

Anemia: No anemia dose not lead to puff bags under the eyes. The more important question is what has lead to anemia.
