Molluscum contagiosu: Am not aware of a serologic test for this poxvirus infection. Diagnosis is made on clinical appearance; the virus isn't routinely cultured,. Diagnosis can be confirmed by excisional biopsy. If you were exposed 4 wks ago the probability is that the lesions would have appeared by now if you were infected.

Not reliably: Unfortunately there is no test that will 100% assure you. The virus causing molluscum , while contagious, is not highly so. Being exposed does NOT, in any way, mean you will contract the virus. Although possible, it is less likely than it is liekey. Additionally, while cosmetically and emotionally upsetting, these are not particularly dangerous.
