For 8-10 years, i supplemented with a high dosage of soy lecithin for its cholesterol-lowering and anti-atherogenic benefits. recently this is not popular. is it likely i did any damage? no symptoms.

It is a food: Soy lecithin is not regulated/studied/quality controlled as a drug, because it is a food. In that context, it's benefits are mild, it's long term effects are no more/different than food (no cholesterol, no transfat, no salt, heart-not-dangerous essential lipid food) so, while the data on it is not very much... it is really unlikely to be dangerous

No harm done: Soy products are healthy, yet there is always some controversy about all good nutrients , off and on. You should eat a healthy diet with ample amount of fruits, grains and veggies and avoid excess of animal fats. Top it up with more physical activity(walk daily) and you will not have to worry about taking any supplements!!.
