Suicidal on BCP's: Probably your symptoms are do to the Progesterone component in BCP's which can increase depression and thought of suicide. You really cannot take estrogen alone, but either a lower dose or the vaginal ring insert (Nuvaring) may not give you the symptoms.

What's indication ?: why are you using birth control ? what is the indication in your case ? if it makes you suicidal probably I would not use it but again it depends on the indication its used for in your case , in a lot of patients we assess risks vs benefit to continue the treatment
