Blood in cervical mucus could be abnormal cells on the cervix (HPV/dysplasia/abnormal pap), infection (such as chlamydia), reactions to other agents (for example latex), injury (from sexual activity), ovulatory bleeding, among others. I would recommend keeping a menstrual calendar and if this continues seek advise from a healthcare provider.
