A member asked:

I'm supposed to get my period in two weeks. i noticed bleeding but i'm never late and i never get it earlier than usual. is that normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Breakthrough bleedin: If you're on a low-dose birth-control pill, this may be breakthrough bleeding. If you're not on the pill, you may have some bleeding associated with ovulation. This will hopefully not happen again. If so, you need to see your GYN.
