Now is time to start: Rafina Ideal time to start the pill is first day of your period, so you are in luck. HOWEVER, need to be on the pill for 2 weeks before you are considered 'protected' from pregnancy. BUT, should always use a barrier method (ie condom) to help prevent sexually transmitted diseases and give an extra level of protection from pregnancy.
