A member asked:

Im 50% thinned out ; 1.5 cm dilated and baby girl is in -2 station. i've had constant cramping for days now but when i see my doctor theres no change?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Frustrating: Its frustrating to feel cramping and be told its not real labor. But this is fairly common. Real labor can be hard to tell from false labor, except by checking your cervix. You are doing the right thing by seeing your doctory. Don't worry, all pregnancies end, though frequently not as soon as you would like.
