Hard to tell.: A full blown panic attack is not normal even for an adolescent, but some amount of weird feelings may be normal. Teen years are enough to drive most people involved pretty crazy at times. You're so right to note that you're changing. In many ways. But panic is worth an exam and evaluation. I'd avoid meds if possible, but some counseling might really help you understand yourself as you change. Best

Panic disorder?: It may be that you have developed panic disorder. This is characterized by having panic attacks "out of the blue" and worry or anticipation of panic attacks. If this problem is causing you a lot of distress or interfering with your life you can look for treatment. The best treatment for panic disorder is specialized cognitive behavioral therapy. You will want to look for a therapist trained in CBT
