Urine culture: Have they done urine cultures or just dipstick urine. Are you having urgency, frequency, burning with urination any other time of the month? Do you have pain with your periods? All of that needs to be evaluated.

General risk factors: Thus far there has not been a direct link or cause and effect of menstrual cycle and UTI. Certainly there are hormonal changes but not correlated with UTI risk. Bottom line, continue to due the basics for UTI prevention and then see a Urologist to have further w/u
