See details: It is probably a bursitis or tendinitis but a pinched nerve is also possible. Have the issue evaluated.

Too many : possibilities , rotator cuff injury, labral tear, cervical radiculopathy, AC joint injury, brachial plexus injury..... The list goes on. Many questions and physical exam tests need to be evaluated. See a Doctor.
