Yes and No: Use as directed it should not cause any problems. Used in excess is can cause damage to the kidneys. Damage to the liver and ovaries would be unlikely

Unknown: It contains mostly large amount of MgSO4, NaHCO3, Citric Acid & sucrose. Excessive Mg may cause diarrhea, cramps, bloating, Na may worsen HTN, edema & heart failure. Citric acid may worsen acid reflux & sucrose will worsen glucose control in diabetes. All these have a negative effect on kidney & vice versa. Effect on liver & ovary is unknown. Check kidney function & talk to PCP before using it.
