Too many possibiliti: Small red pimply rashes with tiny pinhole scabs on top are indeed bug bites. Especially if the lesions are on exposed areas like arms and legs.Do you have pets? Has he been playing outside? Is he acting sick or does he have a fever? Is he fully immunized. There are so many rashes to consider: flea bites, bedbugs, black fly bites, chiggers, papular urticaria. I would suggest to see your baby's PCP.
