Apeendicitis: Appendicitis is a common diagnosis everywhere. It's just that in America most diseases are tracked i.e, the epidemiology of most diseases and diagnosis is better tracked than most other countries. Also diagnostic tool in America is good. In some countries, someone could develop abdominal and die days later likely from undiagnosed and untreated and subsequent rupture of appendix. Good health.

Early diagnosis: Appendicitis is diagnosed when epigastricdistress shifts to the RLQ of the abdomen. A CAT scan can reveal the appendix and whether there is inflammation or a calculus and if necessary surgery is perfomed stat. In European countries use of CAT is limited and immediate surgery probably with signs of peritonitis
