Unlikely: Cancer at your age is extremely rare, but the sooner you quit smoking the lower your risk is of getting cancer when you get older. Have your doctor check it out. Your current symptoms may be nothing worse than a virus or an ear infection.

Not likely: It is more likely that you have a viral infection. However, you will do yourself a favor by quitting smoking.
