A member asked:

Can you tell me how doctors check your amniotic fluid?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ultrasound: An ultrasound of the uterus is done to measure the pockets of fluid. There are two ways to do this. You can measure the single largest vertical pocket or you can measure the largest vertical pocket in each of 4 quadrants around the umbilicus and add them together.
