Depends: Most definitions of abortion deal with potential life which could include fertilized egg and on. Note however that over 75% of fertilized eggs spontaneously pass without implantation (who is causing that "abortion?). Others define life in terms of viability which is around 20-24 weeks of fetal development. This is more a religious than a scientific distinction.
