Eczema: Chronically red and itchy eyelid skin usually falls under the name of eczema. This is treated with emollients and the judicious use of topical steroids. If this is short term it might be due to allergic exposure or related to rosacea. Check with a dermatologist for the distinction and for long term treatment.
