A member asked:

Can you tell me how i could counteract the symptoms of benicar (olmesartan)?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Benicar (olmesartan) symptoms: Benicar (olmesartan) (B) has the following serious side effects (SE): Difficulty with breathing or swallowing, chest pain, cough, vertigo, abdominal pain, hyperkalemia, renal failure, and rhabdomyolysis. These are very rare, as B is from a class of drugs that has very few SE. If you develop one of these go to the ER for treatment. If the symptoms are severe. If your symptoms are not, call your physician.
