Epilepsy: Epilepsy can be a life changing diagnosis. But it's not the end of the world. You can still live a full and happy life. There are so many therapy options: medicines, diets, impantable devices, surgery, etc. your neurologist can tell you which therapy would be the best for you. Don't lose hope. There are also support groups that can help you (online and probably in your area).

Cope....: Coping with a new diagnosis can be tough. Remember that, for some people, having epilepsy is like having...say...low thyroid function. You take your thyroid medication.. you're fine. You don't...You have problems. Working closely with your neurologist is a good first step.
