Pain on breathing- what could it be.?

Pleurisy: Can be caused by multiple things: pneumothorax (collapsed lung), pulmonary embolism (blood clot to lung), pneumonia, inflammation around lung, etc. Some of these can be dangerous so i advise getting it checked out asap.
