Can you tell me more about the thyroid?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Easy to test for: Hi. Thyroid is a key regulator of function in multiple organ systems (CNS, cardiovascular, GI, musculoskeletal, etc). Problems of thyroid function are the easiest things to test for and treat in all of endocrinology. See your doctor and get tested. Then you'll know if your thyroid's OK. Non-function problems are tumors (benign, malignant, or thyroid hormone-producing). They need evaluation.
