Dr. Andrew Ho answered

Specializes in Psychiatry

See psychiatrist: because it is impossible to truly tell whether you are experiencing hallucinations and delusions without someone else to give you feedback. Even if you don't have schizophrenia, you probably have bothersome symptoms that are worth diagnosing. After getting the right diagnosis, the psychiatrist can help you feel better by providing treatment.
