Ear infection: Classic symptoms: ear pain or ear fullness, decreased or muffled hearing in one ear, drainage from ear canal, or exquisite tenderness of the ear to touch or tugging the ear. Ear infections are either middle ear (nontender to pulling) or external ear (very tender to pulling).
